Fluke is recalling some of their Digital Clamp Meters because “the printed circuit assembly may not be properly fastened to the test lead input jack.
The Meters being recalled were manufactured between September 1, 2010 and October 31, 2012.
You can determine if your meter is part of the recall by visiting their webpage here. You will need your serial number. If there is no serial number your meter is part of the recall, if your serial number starts or end with an “R” is not part of this recall.
Even if you have not had any issues with your meter they ask that you stop using it immediately and send it in for repair. They will pay for all the shipping. They only want the meter. Hang onto all the test leads, boxes and manuals. They will return the unit to you when they have repaired it.
Feel free to pass this along to anyone who may own one of these units.
